Addis Vids is an AI video and image generator run from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. You can reach us at support@addisvids.com or +251 963 453 433. By creating an account or using https://www.addisvids.com, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If we change them we update the date at the top of this page.

You must be 18 or older

You need to be at least 18 to use Addis Vids. The AI providers behind the site require it, and we do not knowingly keep accounts for anyone younger.

Your account

• You sign up with an email address and password, or with a Google account. Keep your password to yourself — anything done from your account counts as done by you.
• One free trial per person. We check the email address, the device and the network it was claimed from, and we refuse a second claim.
• You can ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing us. We can close an account that breaks these terms.

Credits and payment

• Generating costs credits. Prices are in Ethiopian Birr and are listed on our pricing page, along with how many credits each generation costs. There is no subscription and no card.
• You pay by transfer (Telebirr, CBE Birr, Bank of Abyssinia), then upload the transfer screenshot. We check it by hand and add the credits to your account. If we cannot match a payment we tell you why.
• Prices and bonuses can change. A purchase you already made keeps the price and bonus you were shown at the time.
• Credits do not expire.
• Credits have no cash value and cannot be refunded or exchanged for money, except where Ethiopian law says otherwise.
• If a generation fails, the credits it cost go back to your balance automatically.

What you make is yours

You own the videos and images you generate, and the prompts and files you upload. We do not claim them. You are responsible for what you upload — if it shows a real person, you need their permission — and for what you do with the results.

AI output is not perfect. It can be wrong, and another user can get a very similar result from a similar prompt. We cannot promise that anything you generate is accurate or unique.

Explore and share links

Everything you generate starts private. If you publish something to Explore, you allow us to show it — with the prompt that made it — to anyone on the site. If you create a share link, anyone with the link can open it. Unpublish or remove the link and that permission ends.

What you may not make

• Adult or sexual content of any kind.
• Anything sexual involving someone who is, or looks, under 18. In Ethiopia this is a crime (Computer Crime Proclamation 958/2016, Article 12).
• Sexual or intimate images of a real person without their consent — including editing a real photo to undress the person in it.
• Fake videos or images of a real person made to deceive people about what they said or did.
• Anything else that is illegal in Ethiopia.

What happens if you break the rules

1. 1First time: the generation is made private, taken off Explore, and you see a warning on your account.
2. 2Second time: your account is put on our block list and we block it. Blocked accounts cannot generate.
3. 3For the most serious cases — anything sexual involving a minor, or a real person's intimate image without consent — we block immediately, without a warning.
4. 4If you think we got it wrong, you can appeal once from the blocked page. We read every appeal before deciding.

Prompts are reviewed by an AI moderation agent and by us. A person always makes the final decision to block an account.

Reporting content

If something on Addis Vids shows you, or someone you know, and they did not agree to it, email support@addisvids.com with the link and tell us what is wrong. We take it down as soon as we can. Intimate images of a real person posted without consent are removed and the account behind them is blocked.

What we cannot promise

Addis Vids depends on third-party AI providers and hosting, so it can be slow, fail, or go down. We provide it as it is. If something goes wrong on our side, the most we owe you is the credits involved. We are not responsible for how you use what you generate.

Law

Ethiopian law applies to these terms. Any dispute goes to the courts of Addis Ababa. Nothing here takes away rights that Ethiopian consumer law gives you.
